Great place to order from. The carnitas and horchata was great. The delivery time was okay...less than the 50 minutes that they quoted(even though they are less than 4 minutes away from me). I used to be a delivery person so I understand that things come up sometimes. As long as the food is still warm and tasty, I can bare the wait time...and it WAS warm and tasty! The carnitas weren't dried out like most places. It came with tortillas, onions, rice, beans, lime wedges, two different hot sauces, a generous amount of napkins, and a fork. Another great thing about my meal was that there was enough food for two people to pig out on. The horchata was awesome too! Try this place out...you might like it too!

The ladies that work here are always SUPER nice and friendly. The place is small, but clean, and of course, the reason you are really here for is the food. Being new to the neighborhood, this is my number 1 pick of mexican restaurants nearby. A good variety of food, large portions, great taste, not too greasy, not too costly. Just right. Parking lot is small and awkward, so be ready to bust out with your best parking lot maneuvers. One of the few places nearby that carries tamales, although the order I had were a little stale or dry. I will order them again to see if it was a fluke. I recommend a little bit of everything, quesadillas, tortas, and of course the tacos. yum!

This is my go-to spot for Mexican deliverables. Breakfast burritos, shrimp or carnitas tacos, even a torta once in a while. Carne asada usually comes a little overcooked in taco form so I would suggest Tampique^a^the steak is one of the best in the city like this and it comes with rice, beans, "salad", a SUPER cheesy quesadilla and a stack of tortillas. I usually ask for a side of onion and cilantro. Also, the guisado de puerco is spicy, meaty brilliance. As a pork-lover, it is difficult to avoid al pastor temptation but it's just kind of lack-luster here. All things considered, it's kind of tough to go wrong here.

Mexican food is my favorite, so I tend to be a little judgmental. I was extremely pleased with how quickly it arrived and the overall taste. My carne asada was tender. My chicken, shrimp, pork and steak fajitas were as well. The green salsa had a good flavor. My quesadillas were thick. Sadly, this was all one sitting. I'm trying to write this while my body is trying to sleep. My only problem was that it didn't come with any chips but next time I'll know. As a south sider who loves Hispanic foods, I would certainly order here again. Btw, it got here in like 15 minutes fresh as heck. Seth S

This is my first order from El Pueblito and it was so good!!!!!!! The food was really great and can I just say how awesome it is to order from a Mexican restaurant that doesn't serve beans that should be classified as soup everything from the guacamole to the ground beef tacos and of course the beans and rice was phenomenal, the flavor of everything was awesome not over-salted not under seasoned. I am no food expert by any means but lately when ordering Mexican food everything is super salted and watered down I am so glad I tried them! This will now be my go-to place!

We ordered quesadillas and a chimichanga, both were delicious and the portions were very generous.
